Description
Burn as an offering to the Spirits on Halloween to prevent tricks from happening.
It was believed that that during Halloween Spirits needed to be propitiated to ensure that the people and their livestock survived the winter. Offerings of food and drink were left for them. The souls of the dead were also thought to revisit their homes. Feasts were had, at which the souls of dead kin were beckoned to attend and a place set at the table for them. Burn or leave out as an offering to the Spirits on Halloween to prevent tricks from happening and to ensure a prosperous year.

Smells great! I’m going to finish burning it with the rest of my candles on Halloween night on my Ancestor altar.
