This book contains folk magic, spells, incantations, & rituals, & folklore collected by Sakharov Ivan Petrovich in the 1800s. A Russian folklorist, ethnographer & paleographer. He collected works of Russian folk art, described archives and architectural monuments, published ancient documents, descriptions of works of culture.

Sakharov created an encyclopedic reference book, a collection of folklore information, multilaterally characterizing Russian life and oral poetry in its artistic charm and charm. These books almost immediately after their publication became a rarity. They were appreciated, they firmly entered the cultural life.

A highly important piece of work, it has been reproduced here in hardcover. It is in Russian but I do find viewing it through google translate on a phone makes for a pretty good translation.
