Haunted Honey

CAD $22.00

Honeybees find many places to make homes in during the year and in New Orleans they often make their homes in tombs and mausoleums. This honey was removed from the interior of a grave from above the coffin.

The bee and hive have played a role in human spiritual interest and worship for centuries. They are present in creation myths, cosmologies and sacred places of many diverse ancient cultures. Powerful symbols of community, continuance, regeneration and a connection to the otherworld for our ancestors.

What a beautiful way to remember those who have come before you, this honey may be placed on your Ancestor Altar as an offering to all your beloved dead. It could also be used to anoint your temples and third eye when connecting with your dead. This honey has been consecrated on my altar with whispered spells and prayers and packaged into beautiful cobalt jars.
