A Sugar Skull or calavera is a representation of human skull made from either sugar or clay, which is used in the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead and the Roman Catholic holiday All Souls Day. Made from sugar without dye. The names of living people can be written on the forehead and can be bought and given as gifts. This skull comes plain for you to decorate.
Some people keep these skulls for few days and then throw them away, others eat them or you can place it on your altar / ancestor altar (That’s what this witch does).
